Photos from the LPL Fieldtrip to Death Valley, CA (March 29-April 2, 2006). This is my 2nd LPL trip to Death Valley, though I did not have a digital camera in Fall 2000.

My photos from our fieldtrip to Canyonlands National Park, Utah... Truly one of the prettiest places I've ever been. As you can see, we also stopped at Monument Valley on the Navajo Reservation.

Here are the photos from my trip to Israel, which was sponsored by Taglit Birthright and Hillel. Joining the 35 Americans on our trip, which was focused on Israel's emerging high-tech industry, were 15 Israeli students. The interaction between Israelis and American Jews was an amazing feature of our trip that few other Birthright participants in the past have had the opportunity to experience. Enjoy!

Ben Oppenheimer has a photo album of the backpacking trip I took with several Steward (i.e., the Department of Astronomy) graduate students to the Grand Canyon in November, 2003 on his website.
